|To all of Gordon's family: Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time! I enjoyed visiting with your dad while at Kentwood and things just won't seem the same without him and the laughs we all shared every day! He will be greatly missed indeed. I am certain Gord will be at the head of the class come Sept and be very pleased with himself!

|I met Gordon a couple years ago. I loved listening to his many stories he had to share about his past and places that he lived. He was very talented and had a green thumb for sure. He loved Vera and spoke of his family with pride. You sure will be missed Gordie. Thinking of you all at such a difficult time.|

|I've been very fortunate to have Gord as my neighbour for the last 2 years. He was my 'carpentry advisor', 'tools advisor', 'security guard' and most important a good friend to us. My family who visit on occasion all knew and respected Gord. We loved his spirit and listening to his stories. Life will be different without Gord. We talked almost daily even if it was just a wave or sometimes he would come into the studio to see what I was up to and we would chat about life, parenting, gardening and art. He was direct about how he just didn't get abstract art but listened intently to my take on it and on his way out he would always point to the same 2 paintings as his favourite. We will miss him dearly and Bella my dog is still wondering about him and waiting to see him come out of the house or drive into the driveway.
My family and I express our deepest condolences to the family. You are fortunate to have had such a great father, grandfather and uncle in your life!

|Our deepest sympathies go to all of Gord’s family. We have fond memories of fun times in Brampton and later in Picton. He and Vera always had us laughing over one thing or another. Gord will be dearly missed but certainly not forgotten.
Holding you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time,
Alex and Catriona Walcer
