SHANTZ, Allan George

Suddenly, at Kingston General Hospital on Friday August 16th, 2019,  Al Shantz of Picton, passed away at the age of 79. 

Beloved husband for sixty years of Patricia (nee Bowerman).  Loved father of Shelly Larkan and her husband Rory and Bryan and his wife Darlene.  Proud grandpa of Andrew (Whitney) and Sondra (Mike) and big-grandpa of Bentley, Holden and Noah.  Sadly missed by the Shantz Towing family. 

Al was an enthusiastic member of the Picton Flying Club and was proud of his service to his country with the R.C.A.F. 

The family will receive friends at the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton on Wednesday August 21st from 6 until 8 p.m.  A celebration of Al's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. 

If desired, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

So Sorry to hear of Al's passing. My thoughts and prayers as you deal with him no longer in your lives. He was part of the fabric of the county & helped me out on numerous occasions.
