WRIGHT, John Douglas

With his family at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 4, 2019, Doug Wright passed away at the age of 61.

Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Storms, formerly Kidd) and loving father to Adam Kidd (Shannon) of Belleville, Matthew Kidd (Marie-Claude) of Rimouski, QC and Sage Singer of Belleville. Proud grandfather to Robert, Thelma, Rose and Ryan and brother to Gordon of Toronto and Catherine (Tom Dawnay) of Edmonton. Doug will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. He was a 30 year employee of the Diamond J Ranch and truly and thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

A Memorial Service in remembrance and celebration of Doug's life will take place at the Hope Centre, 46 King St., Picton on Tuesday July 23 at 1 pm. followed by interment at Glenwood Cemetery. The Reverend David Inch officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time. Casual dress - cowboy boots, blue jeans are welcome, cowboy hats optional!

If desired, memorial donations to the Hope Centre would be appreciated.

To my Uncle Dug I love you very much you have shown me alot growing up. You have been an inspiration in my life and have helped guide me in the right direction to becoming a better person.
Your memories will live on through your family and friends. You will never be forgotten! Our Hearts weaken from your passing but you will always be loved and will always live on through your loving family... I miss you soo much and wish you could still be with us today. Sending many hugs and condolences to all your family and friends. You were the main reason Josselyn was able to become a small part of the Diamond J family and we will cherish that always. Thank you for being there for her throughout her time at the ranch, we will remember it forever ♡ RIP and keep watch over your family and friends. We will miss you always.
