BRANT, Viola

With family at her side, Viola Brant passed peacefully from this life to the next on Tuesday April 23rd, 2019 at the Village Green Residence, Selby, Ontario. Formerly of Tyendinaga and the County, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Mike. Loved mother of Roseanne Brant (Ernest Valcourt) of Castleton, Robert Brant of Trenton, Ronald Brant (Penny) of Kingston and the late Roger Brant and mother-in-law of Pat Brant of Tyendinaga. Proud grandmother of sixteen, great-grandmother of thirty-five and great-great-grandmother of ten. Dear sister of Margaret Moore of Stouffville and the late Lila Knight, Robert Wood and George Wood. Remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton on Saturday April 27th at 11 a.m. with family receiving friends the hour prior. Pastor Dennis Pringle officiating. Interment to follow at Sophiasburgh Cemetery.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to the family. Vi was a very longtime customer of mine both at mown store in Picton (Teasel's Drug Store) and then again for many years at Gray's IDA in Deseronto.Always kind and a grand lady who loved her family. She will always be remember by me.

To Violas Family- I got to know Viola while she lived at "The Maples Retirement Home" She was very pleasant and the other residents really
enjoyed her. She frequently talked about cooking and canning.
I am sure you all have wonderful memories of Viola.
